Le Stella
A classic Paris brasserie needed a site as clear as its menu: hours, address, the carte and a way to book a private room, in French and English.

A 1950s brasserie, freshly renovated.
Le Stella has served the 16th arrondissement since 1950, from breakfast to midnight, seven days a week. After its 2026 renovation it needed a site that matched the room.
Host Studio designed it; I built it in Webflow and took it through launch, search and performance.
What a diner looks for first.
Most visitors want one of four things: opening hours, the address, the menu with prices, or how to book for a group. Those come first on every page, in both languages.
The build follows Client-First, with every colour, size and spacing taken from Webflow variables, so the restaurant’s team can update the site without breaking it.
“[A short quote from Host Studio or Le Stella about the result.]”

The menu, the wine list, and search.
Twenty pages, ten in French and ten in English. The food and drinks menus are CMS collections, with PDF versions to download.
A light layer of custom code handles the preloader, page transitions and reveals. For search engines: sitemap with hreflang, canonical URLs, Restaurant structured data, and an llms.txt file for AI assistants.
What changed.
Lighthouse 12.6, mobile, home page, October 2026.
What I’d keep, what I’d change.
The preloader sets the mood, but it delays the first headline on phones. Mobile load time is the next thing I’m working on with the client.
